SR Rarity Characters in OPMW

There are 9 SR Rarity heroes available in One Punch Man: World. These heroes are similar to 4 star characters in popular games such as Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail. Even though they are generally not as strong as SSR characters, SR characters in OPMW will still be useful to all but the biggest whales. This is because they are much cheaper to upgrade and increase potential with duplicates.

Lightning Max

This is an SR Rarity character in OPMW. He is fast and agile and fights in melee using powerful kicks. His lighting charged footwear allows him to quickly dash around battle. Lightning Max is the starter hero in One Punch Man: World. His fast pace and rapid combos will make him a favorite hero among fans of OPM: W.

Genos (Default)

This is the basic form of Genos, he also has a stronger Cyborg of Justice alternate version that is SSR Rarity. This SR variant primarily fights from range and uses quick blasts from his hand mounted cannon. He can occasionally use more powerful charged blasts as well. Genos will be an easy character to play from ranged where he can effortlessly avoid damage while blasting enemies.

Mumen Rider

A fan favorite hero from the anime. He can ride around on his bike with increased mobility or run over enemies for big damage. Occasionally Mumen Rider can pick up his bike and use it as a weapon quickly spinning around in a whirlwind like attack. He can even throw it for huge damage. Mumen Rider will be an extremely fun character in OPMW.

Stinger

The A-Class rank 10 hero uses his Bamboo Shoot Spear to deal massive damage to enemies. Stinger is a primarily melee hero who utilizes quick combo attacks with his weapon. He has a powerful spear charge attack in which he runs at increased speed and deals massive damage to enemies in his path.

Spring Mustachio

This A-Class hero is a quick melee fighter focusing on quick attacks and high mobility in One Punch Man: World. He has a charge ability to close the gap against enemies and multiple fast attacking combos. Spring Mustachio’s fast paced gameplay focused on evading damage and punishing enemies will make him a favorite character in OPMW.

Golden Ball

Golden Ball is a ranged hero focused on blasting enemies with his slingshot and golden bullets in OPM:W. His main attack is slightly slower than Genos’, but he can deal massive damage by charging some of his shots. He has some targeted ground Area of Effect abilities and rapid fire combos. Golden ball will be a fun hero to play in One Punch Man: World especially for players who like staying safe at range.

Smile Man

This A-Class hero uses his massive Kendama to fight his enemies in One Punch Man: World. Smile Man is a melee and ranged hybrid character. He can throw out his smile ball to hit enemies from ranged. He has a powerful whirlwind ability and hard hitting melee attacks including a powerful ground slam. Smile Man may not be a crowd favorite character in OPMW, but he will make a strong addition to any roster.

Iairon

The Rank 2 A-Class hero from the anime makes an appearance in One Punch Man: World. Iairon dresses in medieval plate armor and wields a Katana which he primarily uses in melee combat. He has a powerful attack that grows stronger the longer it is charged up and strikes with rapid sword slashes and combos. Iairon may not be the flashiest, but he will be an effective character in OPMW.

Saitama (Job Hunting)

The One Punch Man before he started his iconic workout routine. This version is merely an SR Rarity character in opmw. He uses a variety of punches ad kicks while occasionally using his briefcase as a weapon. He can also place it over his head and use a charging attack that damages enemies in his path. Saitama is always a fan favorite and fans of One Punch Man: World will be excited to draw for Job Hunting Saitama.

One Additional SR Rarity Character in OPMW

Lily (Triple-Staff)

Lily of the Three Section Staff obviously uses a …3 section staff. She is currently the only female character supposedly in the game. However she is not currently able to be tested in the closed beta. Players were surprised when she was announced as she is a somewhat obscure character in OPMW. Regardless fans of One Punch Man: World will surely be glad to pull for a waifu should she be in the game.

SR Heroes can still be powerful

As we said earlier, SR Heroes will still be used extremely effectively by the majority of players in One Punch Man: World. It is generally very expensive to draw for and fully upgrade SSR heroes in these types of gacha games, but check out our list of SSR characters in OPMW at launch. Remember a fully upgraded SR hero will often times outperform a SSR hero with no upgrades. Generally focus on making a strong team of SR heroes and hope to get a overpowered meta SSR hero or just gear your favorite.
